Participating Sonoma County SCHOOLS
Schools participating in Safe Routes to Schools are grouped into task forces according to geography. Task forces bring together parent and community leaders from each school; city and county agency representatives; teachers and many other interested parties to discuss strategies to promote safe routes in our communities.
Here is a list of Sonoma County Schools that have indicated that they are implementing at least one or more components of the five Safe Routes to School E’s (education, encouragement, enforcement, engineering, and/or evaluation) on an ongoing basis during the school year. Schools in unincorporated areas are listed in the closest city/area:

In addition to these sites, over 75 schools countywide have participated in our annual International Walk & Roll to School Day event, which takes place each year on the first Wednesday in October. If your school is implementing ongoing Walk/Roll Encouragement Days, Bicycle/Pedestrian Safety Education, or another component of SRTS and is not listed here, please let us know by emailing saferoutes@bikesonoma.org.
