Walk & Roll

by Isabella Sanders-Nyiri, 5th Grade, Strawberry Elementary School

What recreational fun,

When I did a race, I won

Walk and roll excites me,

To saddle up my bike in the morning

And turn off the Wii.

But don’t forget about

The little carbon footprint

I put on my shoes

Slam the front door

And out I go.

I walk through puddles

And mud, trampling leaves

For walk and roll inspires me

To set my alarm and smell the morning breeze.

You say, “Walk and Roll?”

I say, “Yes, please!”
